Paranormal Recorder Privacy Policy

Paranormal Recorder is provided by Excelltech Inc. The app works locally and does not send recordings, magnetic-field readings, notes, or usage information to Excelltech.

Microphone and sensor access

The microphone supplies live audio levels and records audio during sessions you start. Calibrated magnetic-field measurements determine when events are recorded and are saved alongside the audio. Live preview does not save audio.

Local storage and backups

Recordings, saved field readings, event names, optional classifications and notes, and app settings are stored on your device. These files may be included in device or iCloud backups according to your Apple settings. You can delete events in the app. Removing the app deletes its local data; backups are managed separately through Apple.

Sharing and Photos

Audio and generated videos leave the app only when you choose a destination through the system share sheet. Those destinations handle the shared files under their own policies. Saving a video to Photos requests add-only photo-library access. The app does not read your photo library. Temporary exported videos are retained for sharing and removed on a later visit after 24 hours.

No tracking or developer collection

The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, third-party tracking SDKs, or cloud service. Excelltech does not collect personal data through the app.
